Body and Words

This photography series uses the body to convey issues of ageing, sensuality, love and support. Additional text is used poetically in a contrasting red colour to imapact the mainly black and white images.  This series was completed during the 2020 Covid Pandemic lockdown and was a continuation from sculptural studies using parts of the body as a metaphoric conversation. The final image in this series was made from anthropometrical bricks which were made in relation to the size of the artists hands, using clay harvested from her land and inscribed with words which relate to her belonging.
